Fotttos

Below are collections of some of my favorite photos taken with either my grandpa’s old Nikon F3, my Olympus Trip 35, or the Fujica Compacy 35 I bought at a camera shop in Tokyo for ¥500.

North America

Ranging from the streets of New York to the cliffs of the Grand Canyon, this collection offers both color and black-and-white views from my wanderings throughout North America. No trips to Canada or Mexico just yet, so only shots of the red, white, and blue here.

Asia

My first trip to Asia was to India, Thailand, and Malaysia in 2014, but I failed to bring a camera until I visited Japan in 2016. I returned twice more in 2017 and 2018, with about 15 rolls of film spread over just over two months in the country. Two trips to China in as many years have been fruitful as well, as the sights, sounds, and smells are exceptionally inspiring.

Europe

A mix of cool and warm weather with a little in between, this collection contains photos from sweltering days in Portugal and freezing ones in Denmark, France, and Holland. The heat really comes through in the color, while black-and-white clearly transmits a bone-chilling clime.
